The pressure is building on U.S. President Joe Biden — sidelined by COVID-19 — to drop out of the running for the presidency. Biden has been steadfast in saying he is strong and not going to quit, but political support and wealthy donors are backing away. As Eric Sorensen reports, close friends who love Biden are telling him he can’t win.

While Democrats may soon lose their leader, Republicans are backing former president Donald Trump. He is set to rally the party at its national convention in Milwaukee, where he officially accepts the party’s nomination. Jackson Proskow has more.
