Chapter 1: Love and Ego
Secure attachment is all about connection and lightness. Instead of an overwhelming grasp or intensity that can feel suffocating, imagine a slow, constant flow of enjoying each other’s presence without letting your ego get involved. Think of it like dancing with a man—focus on the music and the experience, not just his movements. Authentic love allows space and freedom, focusing on the bond you both share rather than what you’re receiving. Authentic love is about loving someone for who they are, honoring flaws, and taking responsibility for your own triggers, rather than trying to change or control your partner.

Chapter 2: Looking for Love Outside of Yourself
Many women describe love to me as intense chemistry and attraction, but it’s crucial to remember these feelings are yours, not his. Attaching your happiness to a man and feeling miserable when he’s not around means you’re letting something external control your inner state. Imagine your favorite comedian making you laugh; when he leaves the stage, you don’t feel sad because you know how to find joy on your own. Similarly, in a relationship, love and happiness come from within. Cultivate your own joy and bring a whole, happy person into the relationship. Most times, when you’re chasing a man, you’re actually chasing the feeling he gives you, not the man himself.

Chapter 3: Identify Secure Men
One essential step in building a secure relationship is choosing a secure man. No matter how secure you feel within yourself, an insecure partner can slowly consume you. Look for these key signs in a secure man: honest communication, healthy independence, respectful boundaries, supportive and encouraging behavior, and openness to growth. Secure men express their feelings honestly, maintain fulfilling lives outside the relationship, respect your need for space, cheer on your achievements, and continuously seek self-improvement. By identifying a secure man from the start, you increase your chances of building a loving, fulfilling relationship.
