A Senate panel cited for contempt and ordered the issuance of an arrest warrant against suspended Mayor Alice Guo and others for skipping the July 10 hearing on the local official’s alleged ties to POGO operations In Bamban, Tarlac.

During the hearing, a senator also bared that the mayor was not homeschooled as she earlier claimed based on education records he obtained.
