War Alert: The US Support the Philippines to Fight China in South China Sea.

Throughout this year, American officials have been privately and publicly signaling to their Chinese counterparts that the United States is firmly committed to upholding its alliance commitments to the Philippines. Philippine President Ferdinand /”Bongbong/” Marcos, Jr. issued a stern warning that the intentional killing of a Filipino citizen would be /”very, very close to what we define as an act of war,/” potentially leading the Philippines to invoke the 1951 mutual defense treaty with the United States. Resupplying the Sierra Madre remains a goal for Beijing, despite these threats. In the past several months, the station has been fortified by the Philippines. However, a Philippine resupply boat was deliberately rammed with by the Chinese coast guard on June 17. A Filipino sailor severed a finger in the subsequent altercation with Chinese personnel brandishing axes, machetes, and makeshift spears.
